CoffeePaste is a client-side HTML sanitizer. The HTML you paste is processed in your browser.

Local Processing

Pasted HTML is sanitized locally in your browser. CoffeePaste does not run a backend that receives, stores, or processes your pasted HTML.

Browser Storage

CoffeePaste stores preferences in your browser, including sanitizer rules, custom presets, theme, Zen mode, and reminder opt-out status. This data stays in your browser unless you clear it.

Share Links

Rules-only share links do not include pasted HTML. Full-content share links, when available, encode the current HTML and rules into the URL. Anyone with that full-content link can read the encoded HTML.

Analytics

CoffeePaste uses Google Analytics to understand basic site usage. Google may receive technical information such as page URL, browser, device, and approximate location. Do not use full-content share links for private HTML.
